Ithaca Community Chorus & Chamber Singers
Join the ICC&CS!
Online Registration for the Ithaca Community Chorus and Chamber Singers Fall 2016 semester is now OPEN.
We will sing Vivaldi’s “Gloria” (Walton edition) and Rejcha’s “Te Deum.”
You can also register at any of the first three rehearsals beginning on Wednesday, September 7th. If you haven’t sung with us before, we allow the first three rehearsals to “try it out.” At the end of the third rehearsal, you must make the commitment to join if you wish to continue attending.
Our first rehearsal for the 2016 Fall semester will be on Wednesday, September 7, 7-9 PM. On-site registration begins at 6:15 PM. If you can’t make it to the first rehearsal, we will still take registrations on the following Wednesday, September 14th and Wednesday, September 21st.
We rehearse in the downstairs meeting room of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church located at 402 North Aurora Street.
Dues for the semester are $50. The Vivaldi score (Walton edition) is either $10 for a new copy, or $5 for a lightly used copy (with markings). We have a limited supply of used copies on a first come, first served basis – you must pay in advance either through the registration form below, using your credit card or PayPal, or by check mailed to Registrar Ed Olmstead (see below).
The Rejcha score is $8. Note that this is the choral version only for SATB chorus, without accompaniment. If you wish to purchase the vocal score with the accompaniment, you have to order it yourself, either online or from Hickey’s – specify Carus-Verlag 40.907/03. Delivery takes about 3 weeks.
We cannot reserve scores for you unless they are paid for online or by check BEFORE the first rehearsal.
To pay your dues and score costs by check, mail payment before August 30 to Ed Olmstead, P.O. Box 328, Freeville NY 13068. Checks must be made out to the Ithaca Community Choruses.
Dues reduction: The ICC&CS strives to make membership possible for all. If paying dues and buying music are a hardship, please request a reduction or waiver in writing (by email or mail) by Monday, September 5.
